Terms & privacy

The short version, then the full one.

You book a seat, we run the session, you can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the date. We collect what we need to run the program and nothing else. The details follow.

Last updated 10 September 2026. Applies to https://practice.thefutureproof.company and every program sold there.

1. Who we are

The practice is a product of The Talent Lab B.V., Kennemerplein 6, 2011 MJ Haarlem, Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 92143334. VAT NL865903189B01. Questions: reply to any email from us. Legal notices: by post to the address above, or by reply to our mail; see the support page.

2. What you buy

A seat in a live online session or series: the 50-minute briefing, the five-hour workshop, the five-day team week, or the five-week program. Each format's page states what it covers, how long it runs and what you leave with. A seat is for one named person. Team programs are quoted and agreed separately.

The free guides on this site are free. Reading them creates no contract.

3. Booking and dates

You pick a date on the site and pay through Stripe. Your seat is confirmed when the payment completes; the calendar invite and reminders come from Cal.com. If we cancel a date, you choose another date or a full refund.

Sessions are live online. We may record a session for participants who missed it; you can ask not to be shown in a recording.

4. Prices, VAT and invoices

Prices are per seat, in euro, excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout based on your country. Business buyers in the EU outside the Netherlands can enter a VAT number for the reverse charge. Stripe issues the receipt and the VAT invoice; the invoice comes from The Talent Lab B.V..

5. Cancellation and refunds

To cancel, use the link in your calendar invite, or reply to your booking mail. The free 50-minute briefing can be cancelled at any time without cost.

Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By booking a date that falls inside those 14 days you agree that the service starts on that date; if the date has passed, the right no longer applies. Before the date, the rules above apply, and they are never less generous than the legal minimum.

6. Your part

Bring a task from your own work. Keep your login and meeting links to yourself. Do not share material we give you outside your organization without asking. What you build in a session is yours. Our materials stay ours; you may use them for your own work.

7. Our part, and its limits

We run the sessions as described, on the dates booked, with a qualified instructor. We do not promise a business result: what you do with what you learn is up to you. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the seat concerned. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.

8. Privacy

What we collect and why

Where it lives

Our own records are in Supabase, EU region. Processors: Stripe (payments and invoices), Cal.com (bookings), PostHog (analytics, EU), Resend (mail), Netlify (hosting). Each is bound by its own data processing terms. Data does not leave the EU except where a processor's own terms say so.

How long

Waitlist and program records: as long as you are on the list, and up to two years after your last session. Invoices: seven years, the Dutch fiscal retention period. Analytics: PostHog's default retention, currently one year.

Your rights

Ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted: reply to any email from us. We answer within a month. To leave the waitlist, reply to any of our mails. You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you think we handled your data wrongly.

9. The rest

Dutch law applies; disputes go to the competent court in Haarlem, unless the law gives you a different court as a consumer. If one clause fails, the others stand. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you book applies to that booking.
